Chúc Mừng Năm Mới!!!
Street scene in my parent’s neighborhood in Mexico while walking home from the Sunday market on February 10th. I don’t know if anyone was celebrating the Lunar New Year, but I have always enjoyed these cheery banners which people hang across the streets especially around Christmas time. Some new ones were hung out this weekend last. I wonder how many people in Mexico City wished each other chúc mừng năm mới this past Sunday?
It makes me happy that my father brought home chrysanthemums this weekend! They are perfect!
